Hey! Say! Jump Profile
Helloowww everyone xD I
wanna tell you about Hey! Say! Jump, Hmm, do u know hey say jump? If you
dont know them you must know now! kkk Bcs, I wanna share you about them
you must read it!
CHEK IT OUT >>
This is a community
dedicated to the Johnny's Entertainment group HEY!SAY!JUMP, which
consists of two sub groups, HEY!SAY!BEST (Arioka, Takaki, Inoo, Hikaru,
Yabu) and HEY!SAY!7 (Yuto, Yamada, Chinen, Ryutaro, Okamoto). The
original group Hey!Say!7 which released a CD earlier in 2007 consisted
of members of both group: Takaki, Arioka, Yuto, Yamada and Chinen. The
CD had the opening (Hey!Say!) and ending (BON BON) themes for the anime
series ラブ★コン (Lovely Complex). HEY!SAY!JUMP in it's current formation
was announced at Johnny's Juniors Yokohama arena concert in September
24th, 2007. This caused a huge uproar among the junior fandom,
especially among Ya-Ya-yah fans because every sign until then had been
pointing towards the debut of Ya-Ya-yah. Now not only did Ya-Ya-yah not
get to debut, but the group was broken apart with only part of its
members now debuting with Hey!Say!JUMP. Another junior group to be
broken was J.J.Express. Combining popular juniors from already excisting
groups is not new to JE. This was also done with NEWS when they debuted
in 2003. Hey!Say!JUMP is continuing the line of the "Volleyball
supporter debut" in JE. Previous ones were NEWS (2003), Arashi (1999)
and V6 (1995).
WHY THE NAME HEY! SAY! JUMP?
All the members of the group are born in the heisei era (which started January 8th, 1989). JUMP stands for Johnny's Ultra Music Power. The previous groups, "original" Hey!Say!7 had the same meaning behind the Hey!Say! part of the name. The number 7 on the other hand stands for the year the group was created, 2007. The younger half of JUMP took over the title of Hey!Say!7 when JUMP was created. In the older half of the group, Hey!Say!BEST, the 'BEST' comes from words "Boys Excellent Selected Team"(I'm not 100% sure of the spelling of this term because I have only heard the boys explain it during concert, but never seen it in written form).

WHERE I CAN SEE HEY! SAY! JUMP?
Being a debuted group, HSJ makes appearances on known music programs such as Music Station, HEY!HEY!HEY and so on. They also appear on the Johnny's Entertainment own music program Shounen Club (Johnny's juniors are the regulars in that show, debuted groups such as Hey!Say!JUMP only appear as guests). Yabu and Hikaru have been hosting their own TV shows, Shuumatsu YY JUMPing (2009->2011) and Hi!Hey!Say! (2007->2009) which replaced their old show, Ya-Ya-yah (2003-2007). Hikaru, Yamada and Chinen have their own show School Kakumei (on-going) which replaced a show where Yuto, Yamada and Morimoto were regulars, Show wa Heisei (2008->2009) (before that they were regulars in a show called Heisei Families, which appeared in the same program slot, 2007-2008). Not just that! Since April, 2011, Hey!Say!JUMP is given an opportunity to host their very own first TV show; Yan Yan JUMP which also featured Johnny's Jrs.
HSJ members have also appearing in Hyakushiki along with Johnny's Jrs, although currently Keito is the only regular member. Another show where some of the members sometimes appear is Hadaka no Shounen (currently a gourmet show, but originally in 2000~2001 it was a night time pajama show where the boys would visit different locations - from HSJ only Yabu has been in Johnny's long enough to appear in the old format of the show). Hadaka no Shounen is mostly a juniors' show though.
For shows that have already ended, Hikaru and Inoo were with their old temporary group 'Kitty' in a show called YOUtachi! (2006-2007). Yuto was also a regular in this show, and Yamada sometimes appeared in it too. Hikaru and Inoo (with another Kitty member, Kis-My-Ft2's Kitayama) appeared in a few episode special TV show called Bouken (2007).
Of course, like other famous Johnnys the boys appear a lot in TV dramas and different commercials. For more info about those, please check the profiles of the boys.
